Football

Football!

All grades participated in a football unit over the month of October. Students learned the proper techniques for throwing and catching. 

"Point to where you're throwing, elbow up like an "L", pop a balloon with your front leg as you throw!"

We practiced aiming for a target, passing to a partner and passing/catching over the fence! Groups of three ran a simple play with a center (she/he hikes the ball), a quarter back (he/she throws the ball), and a receiver (she/he catches the ball). Everyone has a turn to be each position. 

Everyone should be ready for a post-Thanksgiving dinner game of football in the leaves!
